Benchmarking at its broadest meaning, is about learning from others and using that knowledge to improve one’s own situation and performance.

PI has specialised in benchmarking since 1983 and has been carrying out successful benchmarking in the private and public sectors throughout its international offices. PI follows international codes of practice and all data is used unattributively.

Procurement

PI benchmarks common corporate spend categories to identify improvement and saving opportunities. PI’s well-established solutions, PricetrakTM and PricetrakTM, provide clients with detailed market evidence of own performance and opportunities to improve and save:

Benchmarking business processes

Clients can see own business processes against efficiency benchmarks set by peers. Benchmarking assists clients to develop business cases and to improve or re-engineering processes to achieve better outcomes.
 

Benchmarking performance

Performance is measured and benchmarked by PI in a variety of contexts such as variance from financial and service benchmarks, market means and savings achieved or foregone.

Clients obtain independent assessments of their performance based on evidence of peer performance or against good practice indicators.

Performance improvements are independently measured.

  • Category benchmarking programs

  • PI is launching its 2nd quarter category bencmarking program.

    This current offer is available until COB Friday 9th December.

    Benchmarking will be conducted in the following 12 month period as agreed with  individual participants.

    The category benchmarking covers the full scope (both process and price) of the category as opposed to the demonstration benchmarking conducted by PI through CIPSA this year.
